چکیده
Objective: To investigate the value of N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), and homocysteine (Hcy) levels in predicting cardiovascular events (CV) patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). Methods: A total 63 CHF admitted to our hospital between June 2019 July 2021 were selected. Their NT-proBNP, hs-CRP, Hcy detected at discharge, a 12-month follow-up was done after their discharge collect clinical data. The collected data inclusive from 21 disease 42 without disease. effect on occurrence CV analyzed. Results: group significantly higher than those (P < 0.05); serum had certain short-term 0.05). Conclusion: can be used predict patients, thus having application value.

Cocoa flavanols reduce N‐terminal pro‐B‐type natriuretic peptide in patients with chronic heart failure
AIMS Poor prognosis in chronic heart failure (HF) is linked to endothelial dysfunction for which there is no specific treatment currently available. Previous studies have shown reproducible improvements in endothelial function with cocoa flavanols, but the clinical benefit of this effect in chronic HF has yet to be determined. Therefore, the aim of this study was to assess the potential therape...
متن کاملPrognostic Value of N-Terminal Pro-B-Type Natriuretic Peptide Levels in Heart Failure Patients With and Without Atrial Fibrillation.
BACKGROUND Patients with heart failure (HF) and atrial fibrillation (AF) have higher circulating levels of NT-proBNP (N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide) than HF patients without AF. There is uncertainty about the prognostic importance of a given concentration of NT-proBNP in HF patients with and without AF. We investigated this question in a large cohort of patients with HF and reduced ...
متن کاملN-terminal-pro-brain natriuretic peptide predicts outcome after hospital discharge in heart failure patients.
BACKGROUND Heart failure (HF) is responsible for a huge burden in hospital care. Our goal was to evaluate the value of N-terminal-pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in predicting death or hospital readmission after discharge of HF patients. METHODS AND RESULTS We included 182 patients consecutively admitted to hospital because of decompensated HF. Patients were followed up for 6 months...
متن کاملComparison of midregional pro-atrial natriuretic peptide with N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide in predicting survival in patients with chronic heart failure.
OBJECTIVES Our aim was assess the prognostic value of midregional pro-atrial natriuretic peptide (MR-proANP) using a new immunoassay in patients with chronic heart failure (HF). BACKGROUND Assessment of natriuretic peptides represents a useful addition in establishing the diagnosis of chronic HF. Their plasma values are powerful predictors of survival in chronic HF. METHODS We assessed MR-p...
متن کاملCorrelation Between Levels of N-terminal Pro-B-Type Natriuretic Peptide and Degrees of Heart Failure
BACKGROUND The N-terminal fragment of pro Brain Natriuretic Peptide (NT-pro BNP) is a neuro-hormone synthesized in the cardiac ventricles in response to increased wall tension. The purpose of this study was to assess the correlation between the NT-pro BNP levels and the New York Heart Association function class (NYHA Fc) of dyspnea and echocardiographic findings for the patients who visited our...
